Union Bell Baptist Church has a diverse membership and it’s a place where you can come as you are to experience God in an exciting and personal way. I am delighted that you are considering joining us at one of our services.  I look forward to meeting you.  Pastor C. E. Mays

New Beginning: A Relationship with God
People were created by God to worship Him, fulfill His plan, and have an intimate relationship with Him. Your special plan and purpose can only be fulfilled when you accept God as your Savior.

Questions you may have:

When are your services?
Sunday school is at 9:00 am each Sunday for youth and adults.  Sunday Worship Services are at 11:00 am.  We offer youth church every Sunday except 4th Sunday which is the Sunday our youth are in charge of the service.

How do I get to Union Bell?
Please click on the following link that will direct you to detailed directions on how to get to Union Bell. Directions

What should I wear to your services?
We care mainly about showing you love and meeting your needs rather than what you wear to Church. We offer a casual and relaxed atmosphere for the whole family. We just want you to enjoy the presence of God.

What programs do you have for Children?
At Union Bell we believe that kids are an integral part of our ministry. We offer Sunday School, Bible Study, Youth Church, and Vacation Bible School where they will have the opportunity to worship and learn God's Word in a way they can relate to and understand. We encourage our kids to get involved and so you will see them participating in all areas from special programs and events, to usher’s, choir members, and drama, just to name a few.

What type of music do you sing?
Our worship team blends our music with a balance of worship and praise to help people connect with God in an intimate way. Most of all we strive for our music to be a reflection of our love for God.

Will I be asked to stand and/or identify myself as a visitor?
You can relax and enjoy meeting people at your own pace.  We do offer the opportunity for our visitors to introduce themselves so that the church can officially welcome you for coming to our church.  We believe that most people feel uncomfortable standing and introducing themselves. So, while we want to get to know you and make you feel welcome, it is your decision.

How do I become a member?
During our worship service, we will offer the opportunity to become a member after the word of God has been given.  If during the service you would like to join please let one of the usher’s know.  You can also note it on a visitor card and mark your interest in becoming a member and someone will contact you to start the process.

Do I have to be a member to participate in the Lords Supper?
No, you do not have to be a member as long as you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.

What if I have a prayer request?
You can contact Pastor Mays directly at, visit our church, or submit a prayer request form through our website.

Will I be asked to give money?
We want you to relax and enjoy the freedom of not being pressured to give. Giving is something we do every week as servants of Christ. Cheerful giving is an opportunity for us to place our financial trust in God as we honor Him with our tithes and offerings.
