The Men's Choir is designed to foster fellowship among the men of the church through the medium of music. They endeavor to give GOD praise through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. The purpose of this ministry is to minister praises unto God. The age of the Men's Choir ranges from young adult to senior citizens. They render their service unto God every 2nd Sunday of the month. Deacons are appointed and ordained by the Pastor. They assist the Church and the Pastor in ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of the body of Christ. Every member of the church is assigned to a Deacon who regularly contacts and prays for them. The office of a Deacon is mentioned in<em> Philippians 1:1 and I Tim. 3:8 –13</em> The Praise Teams ultimate goal is to praise God and usher the congregation into Gods presence through song. The psalmist writes, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” <em>Psalms 100:4</em>. Praise Team members range from teens to adult and lead devotional services every Sunday. To actively research, plan, organize, and establish a marketing partnership with diverse affiliations to provide branded exposure of Union Bell Baptist Church to a targeted population in the surrounding areas, communities, and organizations. The Women's Ministry provides a network of supportive sisters to meet the spiritual needs of women through various activities such as retreats and conferences. This ministry is designed to promote and build relationships between all women in the church. The Senior Ushers of Union Bell Baptist help to maintain the orderly flow of the congregation during the worship service. The bible says, “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of the wickedness. <em>Psalms 84:10 </em> The Mass Choir consists of members from all the various choirs of the church.  This choir is designed with the goal of leading God's people in purposeful and powerful praise. They exist so that Christ may be glorified while expounding on the fact that it's all about Jesus. They render their service unto God every 1st and 5th Sunday of the month. The Missionaries are committed to reaching out to the community and assisting church members. Missionaries provide assistance to the community, visit convalescent homes, hospitals, and the sick and shut in. The Deaconess are women who love the Lord, who are sober and seasoned. They are appointed by the Pastor to advise and guide the young women in the church, aide the Deacons and the Pastor in carrying out the needs of the church. Deaconess continually pray for the church and especially the Pastor and his family. They are responsible for preparing baptismal candidates and the preparation of the elements for communion every 2nd Sunday. Provides formatted bible study prior to morning worship service for the youth and adults. Its purpose is to provide additional instruction, nurture, and develop people to a higher spiritual knowledge of God. Sunday School is held every Sunday morning at 9:30am. Nurses are individuals who are prepared to provide preliminary medical attention in cases of emergency. They are the health care organization of the church and are available to give first aid during church services. The Educational Ministry gives encouragement to our youth who do their very best academically in school. It also recognizes many of our young adults who are entering college or completing their program of study. The ministry is funded by the generous donations of the church family. Youth who bring in their honor roll report cards and achievements are given special recognition on the 4th Sunday of each month. The Music Ministry is a body of psalmists who are dedicated to God and focused on Christ as they minister to God's people in song. They lead them into God's divine presence through thanksgiving, worship, and praise. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound.”<em> II Chronicles 5:13</em> The Eveready Choir is made up of dedicated worshippers who seek to glorify God and lift the name of Jesus. They minister to all people in song so that Jesus Christ is lifted up. The members range from ages 45 and up singing every 3rd Sunday of the month. The Women's Reading Group is open to all women and is designed to promote healthy and enjoyable reading. Each member has an opportunity to select a Christian book and be the discussion leader. Group discussion is held the 4th Friday of the month. This ministry is a voluntary activity that supports requirements for feeding the multitudes. It consists of members who have been blessed with the God-given talent for cooking and preparation of food for on-site and off-site events. Always ready to make the best of “two fishes and five loaves of bread.” Silver Eagles are the faithful members of the church who are above age 55. Through their longevity, wisdom, prayers and dedication to God there has been continuity within the church since its inception in 1922. We recognize the importance of the Silver Eagles and honor them twice a year in March and October.  The Junior Ushers consists of a group of energetic youth who want to serve God and their church by being doorkeepers in the house of God.  The Junior Usher board typically runs between the ages of 8 to 18.  Our young men and young ladies serve every 4th Sunday of the month. The Visionary Committee is established by the Pastor and consists of members appointed by him who are like-minded visionaries, filled with the Spirit. They have been blessed with special talents for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of programs, efforts and activities that will aid the Pastor in achieving the church's vision for the future. The Men's Ministry provides a network of supportive brothers in the Lord designed to meet the unique spiritual needs of each other through various activities and retreats. This ministry is designed to build relationships between all the men in the church. The UBBC Outreach program supports the vision of our Pastor to be a holistic ministry and in accomplishing our motto ~ Each One Reach One.  It focuses on reaching more people for Christ by spreading God's Word through bible study in homeless shelters, senior citizen housing facilities, local prisons, and community services.  The Special Events Committee assists in meeting the needs of the church body and the community through proper planning and execution of events. The committee supports the Pastor and carries out God’s principle found in 1 Cor. 14:40: “Let all things be done decently and in order”. Choir members are ages 8 to 18 who want to add to the worship experience in the church. The Youth Choir sings every 4th Sunday of the month. The Pastor's Aid ministry lovingly serves our Pastor and his family through prayers, words of encouragement, and by accomplishing a variety of necessary deeds and tasks that help the Pastor and first family maintain focus on their religious duties to the church.
